PHDSC Health Data Standards Online Survey

The Web-based Resource Center Work Group (WRC WG), part of the PHDSC, developed a white paper with highlights of the survey included.  Click <Retired Link> to view the white paper.

The Public Health Data Standards Consortium (PHDSC) requests input from the public health and health services research communities to inform the development of new web-based information and training resources.  Take the online survey to voice your needs regarding HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and other data standards implementation, data standards training, and data sharing practices.  If appropriate, please forward this survey request to a person in your organization with knowledge of health data issues.

PHDSC is a coalition of agencies and organizations with an interest in data standardization for the purposes of public health and health services research.  The Consortium serves as a mechanism to represent the public health and health services research communities' interests in HIPAA implementation and other data standards setting processes and to help educate these communities about data standards issues.  The Steering Committee has included representation from agencies and organizations such as AHRQ, AHSRHP, APHL, ASTHO, CDC, CMS, CSTE, JCAHO, NAHDO, NAPHSIS, NACCHO, NASADAD, PHF, and STIPDA.  More information about PHDSC is available at www.phdsc.org/.
