VIEW THE LAUNCH CONFERENCE: Participate in the conference
to launch Healthy People 2010 (1/25 -1/28) even if you can't come to Washington, DC! You
can view major sessions live on the web, by satellite broadcast, or by on-demand playback
after the conference. Details are on the web at:
http://www.health.gov/partnerships/Program/broadcast.htm.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SESSIONS: For those who will be in
Washington for the launch, the Public Health Foundation will offer free, individualized
technical assistance sessions throughout the conference. Five sessions offer you the
opportunity to ask questions, bounce ideas, and identify models and resources for your
Healthy People 2010 initiatives. Two of the five sessions focus on data issues (see
schedule below). Although we can't guarantee an answer to every question, we will
guarantee a prompt response after the conference if needed. Appointments are recommended
and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
To sign-up, please send an e-mail to Donald Salley at
dsalley@phf.org with your name, contact
information, and preferred session date/time. If you know what you would like to discuss,
a short description will help our staff prepare information for you. We'll confirm your
appointment time by e-mail.
All technical assistance sessions will be held at the PHF
booth, #317 - 418, in the exhibition area.
