Subject: Call for Nominations

The Public Health Foundation (PHF) Board of Directors is calling for nominations of potential candidates to serve on the Board.  Four terms expire this year; all four Board members are eligible for re-election.  Terms are for three years.  The terms expiring are for the following slots:

- One State Health Officer
- One Local Health Officer
- Two At-Large Members
Deadline: March 31, 2000

The mission of PHF is to support local, state, and federal public health agencies and systems efforts to promote and protect the health of people living within their respective jurisdictions.  This is accomplished through applied research, workforce development, and technical assistance.  PHF focuses its activities in the areas of Healthy People 2010 objectives, public health infrastructure, data collection and analysis, integration of health and public health data and information systems, and health policy analysis.  For more information on PHF, visit www.phf.org.
