"CDC & U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION COLLABORATE TO HELP SCHOOLS PREPARE FOR POSSIBLE TERRORISM"
Live Broadcast: Thursday, May 16, 2002, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm ET.

This national live satellite broadcast and webcast will provide state and local education, health, emergency management, law enforcement, and homeland security agencies with updated information on biological, chemical, and radiological threats; answer questions about school preparedness and response; and describe roles of partnering agencies in the case of a terrorist threat.  A program fact sheet with technical specifications for the live broadcast and webcast is posted at http://www2.cdc.gov/PHTN/schools/Default.asp.

"THE ROLE OF NURSING AND PUBLIC HEALTH DURING TIMES OF WAR AND TERRORISM"

ADDITIONAL TRAINING AND INFORMATION RESOURCES:
