HOOKED ON COMPETENCIES

Is your public health or healthcare organization using the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals to strengthen the skills of its workers and more effectively deliver the 10 Essential Public Health Services?  Might your school of public health or graduate program in public health be using the Core Competencies to ensure that your curricula is adequately preparing students for the demands of public health practice?   If so, the COL asks that you submit a description to www.TrainingFinder.org/competencies, where other organizations and academic institutions can learn from your efforts.  TrainingFinder.org has been expanded into TRAIN, an online learning management system. Visit TRAIN at www.TRAIN.org.
