The Center for Law and the Public's Health www.publichealthlaw.net, a partnership between Johns Hopkins and Georgetown Universities and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, designed the public health law competencies to assist in workforce development efforts and to complement the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals.

The Center, along with the Public Health Foundation, seeks your input on the introduction, the competencies, and the application of these competencies.  The Center thanks you in advance for your interest and input into this process.
