Subject: A national research agenda for public health practice?

Take part in developing a national research agenda to build the science base for public health practice.

JOIN US AT APHA:
The Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice, staffed by the Public Health Foundation, will host the first national public health practice research forum at the annual American Public Health Association meeting in Atlanta.  The session, "Convening a Public Health Practice Research Forum," stems from growing concern in the public health arena that there is an insufficient science-base to adequately protect and promote the health of the public.  The session (4013.0) will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2001 from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. in the Georgia World Congress Center, Room 216.

JOIN THE FORUM ONLINE:
For more information about the session including the agenda and abstract or to join a special "research forum" message board hosted by TrainingFinder.org, please visit <Retired Link> [No longer available].  The message board will enable you to discuss, post messages and share information and documents about the development of a national public health practice research agenda.
