Anthrax: What Every Clinician Should Know, Part II
Live Broadcast: Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, 1:30 - 3:00 PM EST

This live satellite and webcast program, originating from the Howard University College of Medicine, will present an update on clinical guidelines and procedures for the early recognition, diagnosis, treatment, and reporting of anthrax exposure.  A panel of experts from the National Medical Association, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and local public health will provide an overview of clinical, laboratory, and public health preparedness for potential Bacillus anthracis incidence.  Leaders in the African American medical community will pose questions to the panel of experts for discussion.  Sponsored by the National Medical Association, Public Health Training Network, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Howard University College of Medicine.  A toll-free audio line will be available for those unable to arrange a viewing location.
