Core Competencies Workgroup

In the six years since the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals were adopted, the field of public health has seen major changes, from the events of September 11, 2001 to new technologies, and an aging workforce. The Council is undertaking a project to revise and update the Competencies, based on recommendations from Council members, as well as the public.
