The 2015 Public Health Improvement Training (PHIT): Advancing Performance in Agencies, Systems & Communities offers hands-on training workshops and networking opportunities to take action in public health performance improvement topics. Attendees participate in interactive learning and skill-building sessions designed for different experience levels. PHIT also features dynamic keynote sessions, stimulating discussion groups and convenient networking activities. 

 

Public Health Foundation (PHF) Sessions at PHIT
PHF will deliver four skill-building sessions for improving performance in public health. Connect with PHF by attending the following sessions, each led or co-led by PHF quality improvement expert Sonja Armbruster, and visiting PHF's exhibit table.

 

        June 9:

  • Getting Started with Performance Management, Presenter: Sonja Armbruster
  • Introduction to Quality Improvement, Presenters: Sonja Armbruster and Reena Chudgar from the National Association of County and City Health Officials

        June 10:

  • Aligning All the Accreditation Plans, Presenter: Sonja Armbruster
  • Aligning Job Descriptions with Workforce Competencies, Presenters: Sonja Armbruster and Kathleen Amos, Assistant Director, Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice

PHIT is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and collaboratively produced by the following national partner organizations:
