In addition to a walk-through of the features of the toolkit during the webinar, Brynn Riley from the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Maine CDC) will share her story of building a performance management system from the ground up at the health department. Ms. Riley will share strategies for how to get started with performance management and how Maine CDC has benefitted from implementing a performance management system. Participants will also hear from the Office for State, Tribal, Local, and Territorial Support (OSTLTS) at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about the benefits of a strong performance management system to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of an organization’s work.
