The Public Health Improvement Resource Center is a searchable online database of resources and tools aimed to build better public health systems. More than 300 accessible resources organized here support the initiation and continuation of quality improvement efforts and promote performance management and quality improvement, community health information and data systems, accreditation preparation, and workforce development. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Public Health Foundation (PHF) provide funding for this site.

• The Accreditation search categories were updated to reflect the Public Health Accreditation Board Version 1.0 Standards and Measures approved in May 2011. Visit the Advanced Search page to search for resources associated with one or more of the Accreditation Domains. If you have a resource to recommend that supports preparing for accreditation, please send the resource title and web link to PHF_Resources@phf.org.
  
• PHF recently enhanced the Public Health Improvement Resource Center with new ways to narrow down search results to make it easier to find resources. Learn more about the new features added and the search categories. New features added include:
  
  
  • Feature boxes display top keyword searches and recently added resources
  • Resource counting displays the total number of resources in each search category before you narrow down the results [e.g., Accreditation (84)]
  • Sort and filter feature allows search results to be narrowed down by search category
  • Resource preview image displays a thumbnail image of search results resources if available
