Explore How Academic Health Department Partnerships Can Support PHAB Accreditation
As health departments work to achieve accreditation through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB), partnerships with academic institutions can provide support for a variety of areas of the PHAB Standards and Measures. Opportunities for collaboration between health departments and academic institutions related to national voluntary health department accreditation were explored at the most recent Academic Health Department Learning Community meeting, held earlier this month. Featuring a presentation by PHAB's Director of Research and Evaluation, Jessica Kronstadt, MPP, this meeting was archived and can be accessed online for those interested in learning more. Visit Accreditation and Academic Health Departments to watch the archive or download a copy of the presentation slides. Questions or additional ideas for collaboration can be sent to Kathleen Amos at kamos@phf.org. |
