Continuing Education (CE) Offerings on TRAIN

The TRAIN Learning Network features courses that offer accredited continuing education from multiple accreditations free of charge. About 25% of the courses available on the TRAIN Learning Network offer CEs. These courses are posted by federal TRAIN Affiliates such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), as well as other agencies and organizations that contribute content. To find training opportunities with CEs, go to advanced search on TRAIN and select the ‘Credit Types’ filter.

Tips for using the new TRAIN platform

Learners can now use the new TRAIN Learning Network platform by going to the national TRAIN and CDC TRAIN sites. Log in today and let us know what you think. Follow these tips to make the most of your TRAIN experience.
  1. Explore the "Courses You May Also Like" section
Located at the bottom of the "Home" tab, you can find courses you may be interested in. These update periodically, so check back often.

  2. Make sure you receive emails from TRAIN
Go to "Your Profile" under the "Account" section to sign up; these contain important information regarding course registration, course completions, and other TRAIN news.

  3. If you get stuck...
Remember to check the TRAIN User Tips site for help. The video tutorials and downloadable job aids are updated as new functionality is released.
