National Public Health Performance Standards Program

Overview

About the National Public Health Performance Standards Program (NPHPSP)

NPHPSP is a national initiative that has developed a set of standardized goals for state and local public health systems and boards of health.  This effort is coordinated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and six national partners, including the American Public Health Association (APHA), Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), National Association of Local Boards of Health (NALBOH), National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI), and the Public Health Foundation (PHF).

PHF administers the NPHPSP Data Reporting Page and provides resources and tools on performance management to help reach these standards.
