The Antibiotic Stewardship Program is an initiative to develop and pilot a driver diagram for public health and healthcare to work together to reduce antibiotic resistant infections through addressing drivers of optimal antibiotic use that persist beyond hospital walls.

Increasing Use of Oral Health Care

PHF is leading an effort to develop and test a driver diagram to help the public health and health care sectors collaborate to address the Healthy People 2020 Leading Health Indicator, “Increase the proportion of children, adolescents, and adults who use the oral health care system.”

Vector Control Program Performance Assessment and Improvement Initiative

PHF is collaborating on a performance improvement project to increase vector control program efficiency, effectiveness, and capacity for 15 local health departments by helping participants assess their vector control programs, prioritize needs, and take action to address an area of identified need.
