Academic Health Department Partnerships of East Tennessee State University (AHD Learning Community Meeting Presentation)

Overview

This archived webinar focuses on the academic health department (AHD) partnerships in which East Tennessee State University's College of Public Health is engaged, including partnerships with Sullivan County Regional Health Department and the Northeast Tennessee Regional Health Office. During this webinar, AHD Learning Community member Paula Masters, DrPH(c), MPH, HCMC, discussed a variety of aspects of these Northeast Tennessee partnerships, including benefits for schools of public health, health departments, and the community; intricacies of this unique partnership model in which public health students serve as AHD coordinators; activities of the AHDs; and opportunities for improvement.
