The Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice held a 90 minute session at the 2010 APHA Meeting. The session focused on the evolution of the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals, as well as tools being developed to assist practitioners with their use. Session attendees were asked to provide feedback about the tools, noting: 1) Whether the tools are useful; 2) If anything is missing from the tools; and 3) What other tools must be developed.
