​This document contains results from a 2009 survey that was fielded to public health practitioners that work at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Public Health Training Centers (PHTCs). The purpose of the survey was to determine how public health practitioners are using the COL Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals (Core Public Health Competencies), and how said competencies have facilitated staff development efforts within the PHTCs.
