This paper (last updated in Summer 2010) outlines the background and purpose of the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice Pipeline Workgroup. It gives a summary of work that has been conducted thus far in efforts to map the pipeline of public health workers and address the public health worker shortage issue.
