The Public Health Improvement Resource Center

Overview

The Public Health Improvement Resource Center is an online database is managed by the Public Health Foundation (PHF), and offers resources developed by colleagues and partners throughout the field to help build and improve public health systems. The resources support the initiation and continuation of quality improvement efforts by promoting performance management techniques, community health information and data systems, accreditation preparation, and workforce development.

In 2016, the Public Health Improvement Resource Center was refreshed and improved to meet the evolving needs of public health improvement professionals. Through the Advanced Search function, users can filter the over 500 tools, articles, policies, and other materials in the Public Health Improvement Resource Center by category including each accreditation domain from Standards and Measures Version 1.5 published by the Public Health Accreditation Board. Resources can also be filtered by each the 10 Public Health Essential Services, and a variety of pertinent topics in public health improvement.
