TRAIN Learning Network’s Report Manager Role: Think Report, Design Report, Build Report, Run Report
Monday, August 31, from 2-3pm EDT
Knowing what your staff, workforce, or workforce segment are prepared for is a key component of workforce development and capacity building. But knowing requires being able to access the data – and analyze it.
Understanding reporting functionality in the TRAIN learning management system is crucial in order to explore learning trends, provide programmatic reporting for compliance, grant, and other needs, and develop custom reports for organizational leadership.
The webinar included an example of a state annual report using TRAIN data (Making Reporting Meaningful), discussion of the TRAIN Administrator’s role as a Report Manager, and a demo of several reports in TRAIN.
Objectives:
- Describe the type of data Report Managers access on TRAIN
- Explain how TRAIN reports can supply all relevant data or a count
- Give an example of a report TRAIN can produce
Presenters:
- Tim Pollock, Training Specialist, Pennsylvania Office of Administration
- Ilya Plotkin, Assistant Director, TRAIN Learning Network, Public Health Foundation
- Greg Wasylik, Senior Account Manager, KMI Learning
The archived webinar is available on the TRAIN Learning Network as
Course ID 1093411. This webinar is recommended for TRAIN administrators and those whose responsibilities include developing customized reports for their organization.
