The Academic Health Department (AHD) Learning Community will hold its third in-person meeting during the American Public Health Association (APHA) 141st Annual Meeting this fall in Boston, MA. This meeting provides an opportunity for AHD Learning Community members and others to come together to learn more about AHDs and the AHD Learning Community from public health professionals active in this area. Elements of the AHD model, examples of AHD activities, and resources that support AHDs will be highlighted, and participants will be encouraged to ask questions and share their own AHD experiences. All APHA Annual Meeting attendees who are interested in exploring AHDs and the AHD Learning Community are welcome and encouraged to participate. Come join your colleagues to discuss the development, maintenance, and expansion of successful AHD partnerships.

The Academic Health Department Learning Community brings together public health and primary care professionals to engage in collaborative learning, knowledge sharing, and resource creation to support the development, maintenance, and expansion of AHD partnerships. The AHD Learning Community is an initiative of the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice supported with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
