​​The 140th APHA Annual Meeting & Exposition will take place in San Francisco, October 27-31, 2012, to address current and emerging health science, policy, and practice issues in an effort to prevent disease and promote health.  The theme for this year's event is "Prevention and Wellness Across the Life Span." 

 

The Public Health Foundation (PHF) will be on-site to showcase quality improvement, performance management, and workforce development information for public health professionals through multiple presentations, sessions, workshops, and an exhibit booth.  Please take advantage of these great learning, participation, and networking opportunities to learn more about PHF's recent and current initiatives to improve the quality and performance of public health practice.

 

Sessions and exhibits will take place across three buildings in downtown San Francisco, including the West and South buildings of the Moscone Convention Center and the Marriott Marquis hotel.

The Public Health Expo will be located in the Moscone Convention Center South building, and you can find PHF's exhibit booth at location 2608 in the exhibit hall. PHF will display resources and tools to help you with quality improvement, performance management, and workforce development projects within your organization. If your health department is looking to succeed with public health accreditation, specifically to address Domains 8, 9, and 10, you will also find several materials to get you started with this process.
