AHD Webinar: A Student Perspective: Growing Academic Health Department Partnerships through Student Internship Programs
Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 2-3pm EDT

Internship programs are a core component of many academic health department (AHD) partnerships – formal partnerships between health departments and academic institutions. Join the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice and the Public Health Foundation for a webinar on May 5, 2021 from 2-3pm EDT to hear directly from student interns engaged in the University of Arizona Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health's AHD internship program. Through this program, student interns have helped to build an AHD partnership in rural Arizona, supported COVID-19 response efforts by blending public health and graphic design skills, and documented successes and lessons learned to help others in AHD partnership efforts.

This webinar is open to all and free to join. Visit the webinar webpage for more information or to register and contact Kathleen Amos at kamos@phf.org with any questions.
Questions and comments may be emailed to Academic/Practice Linkages Director Kathleen Amos at kamos@phf.org.
To ensure delivery of this email to your inbox, please add councilonlinkages@phf.org to your address book.
