Over the past 20 years, the public health system has reached many milestones in controlling vaccine-preventable diseases and protecting infants and children.
 
As the nation celebrates the 20th Anniversary of National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW), April 26 – May 3, 2104, an annual observance to promote the benefits and successes of immunizations, the Public Health Foundation (PHF) is promoting resources to help guard against vaccine-preventable diseases.  In partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), PHF offers NIIW related resources through its Online Store under "Immunizations," including:
  • The Flu: A Guide for Parents Brochure, available in both English and Spanish, provides parents and caregivers with various flu facts, such as how the flu spreads; flu symptoms; and how to protect children against the flu
