The Pima County Health Department (AZ) and University of Arizona’s Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health’s (MEZCOPH’s) academic health department (AHD) partnership is featured in the latest Field Notes story from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Center for State, Tribal, Local, and Territorial Support.


The Field Notes series spotlights success and innovation within health departments across the country, and this story highlights how these organizations are collaborating to prepare the future public health workforce through a strong internship program.
