Using data gathered by the National Association of County and City Health Officials, in 2007, several local health departments (in California, Georgia, Idaho, and Texas) that reported using the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals were contacted and interviewed about their experiences. This document presents information obtained from the interviews.
