Your Feedback Needed to Help Shape the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals

Your help is needed to ensure the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals (Core Competencies) continue to reflect the reality of working in public health and meet the needs of the public health workforce. The Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice is beginning the process of revising the Core Competencies and welcomes feedback from the broad public health community to inform the revisions. Join an upcoming virtual town hall meeting to share your thoughts:

Council of Public Health Nursing Organizations Town Hall Meeting: January 21, 2021 from 1-2pm EST (open to public health nurses)

National Association of Local Boards of Health Town Hall Meeting: January 21, 2021 from 4-5pm EST (open to local board of health members)

Association of Accredited Public Health Programs Town Hall Meeting: January 25, 2021 from 2-3pm EST (open to faculty and staff of academic public health programs)

Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health Town Hall Meeting: January 26, 2021 from 1-2pm EST (open to faculty and staff of schools and programs of public health)

Additional virtual town hall meetings are being scheduled, and information about those will be available shortly.
