Innovation and Quality in Public Health (Archived Webinar)

Overview

​This archived webinar explores how one local health department, the Oklahoma City-County Health Department (OCCHD), is moving its community forward to improved population health. Grounded in a culture of continuous quality improvement, OCCHD has embraced the community chief health strategist concept, embodying performance improvement in public health. During this webinar, Gary Cox, JD, Executive Director, OCCHD, shared how taking on this role and thinking more holistically about health is having an impact for their community and how work focused on quality improvement, performance management, and workforce development is helping to move innovation forward in public health.
