On December 13, 2010, in Washington D.C., The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) and The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) will host the "Train-the-Trainer"workshop. This purpose of this meeting is to:

• Promote staff awareness of the Community Guide, and
• Build staff capacity to support state, territorial, local and tribal agencies in evidence-informed decision making and use of the Community Guide.

The meeting will include a combination of didactic presentations, break-out groups by content area, and small group discussions. Invited faculty include members of the Task Force on Community Preventive Services, liaisons to the Community Guide, state policymakers familiar with the Community Guide’s impact on policy, and other state and local public health representatives.
