Through the TRAIN Learning Network, the Public Health Foundation (PHF) can help your health department quickly train staff and volunteers by creating a contact tracing curriculum that combines nationally available contact tracing training from sources such as ASTHO/NCSD, CDC, Johns Hopkins, the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice, and others with your agency’s content. In addition, you have the option of adding your own resources such as scripts and guidance documents to be included in the curriculum. This service is being provided by PHF at no cost to health departments.
Using TRAIN to deliver your curriculum will allow you to direct your contact tracers to one learning management system where they can complete all the training requirements for your agency and also provides you with the ability to track and report who is taking the training. You can access an example of what a contact tracing curriculum might look like for your agency by clicking here.
PHF can recommend trainings for you to include or you can tell us what trainings you want and we can design the curriculum. This is quick and easy to develop and launch for your staff and volunteers.
Please note that this service is open to all health departments. If interested in creating a training curriculum on TRAIN, please contact Ilya Plotkin at firstname.lastname@example.org for this no cost assistance.
